State Competition

Final NYC Trip Meeting
Final meeting with our trip coordinator before we leave for NYC!! If your student is on the trip, please plan to attend.

All marching band members are required to attend. We will play pep tunes during the game and perform our show at half time!

Douglas County Marching Invitational (DCMI)
All marching band members are required to attend. Counts as a summative assessment grade, as this is a competition.
Menu:
Breakfast: Pancakes with toppings
Lunch: Jimmy Johns
(If Finals) Dinner: Cup O’ Noodles
Volunteers Needed: Morning Food Crew, On-Site Food Crew, Chaperones, trucks to transport grills to and from Timberview.

Menu:
Breakfast: Einsteins Bagels, Cream Cheese and Sausage
Lunch/Dinner : Depends on weather which is served first .
BBQ pulled Pork, BBQ pulled chicken, potato salad, carrot sticks, cookies
Sandwiches: Ham, Turkey, Veggie, chips and sweet treat.
In case of finals: Will have optional Cup O’ Noodles with hot water available.

Harrison Marching Clinic
All marching band members are required to attend. Counts as a summative assessment grade, as this is a competition. Please see the itinerary sent out through the Band App on August 29.
Menu Plan:
Breakfast: To-Go Bags (pop tarts, applesauce, granola bars, capri sun)
Lunch: Chicken Salad Sandwiches, Cucumber Salad, Pasta Salad (chicken, cheese, buns, veggies, mayonnaise, pasta, vinegar, cucumbers, onions)
Dinner: Pasta Bar, Cesar Salad and Fruit Cocktail (Different types of Pasta, red and white sauces, beef and chicken toppings)

Required event for all marching band members. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year!

Join us for a potluck and general booster meeting after our third day of Sectional Camp! We’ll be talking about Band Camp, volunteer needs, and sharing dates for Booster meetings throughout the year.

Auditions for anyone trying out for marching band drumline or front ensemble.

This is a clinic for anyone interested in auditioning for marching band percussion.
Graduation Performance
Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble non-seniors perform at Liberty’s Graduation at Clune Arena.
Jazz Band Concerts
Scarlet Jazz Band and Navy Jazz Band have a call time of 5:30 pm. Concert starts at 6:00.
CBA State Concert Band Festival
This will most likely only be Wind Ensemble attending. Symphonic Band may also qualify.
